An algorithmic transduction, a cross-ontological communication flow between natural realms
A new frontier in ecological active monitoring & complex systems interpretation
This is a project specifically crafted for InOut 2023 by a collaborative team of musicians, audio engineers and AI specialists, deepening the potentialities that artificial intelligence offers for building interactive ecosystems between humans and the natural world.
These aren’t merely art installations; they are immersive experiences that augment the emotional engagement of visitors in settings like hotels, resorts, parks, and gardens. Utilizing specialized sensors coupled with AI algorithms, we can now decipher the ‘vital signs’ of plant life and translate them into multisensory experiences for humans —encompassing sound, sight, and touch.
This innovation inaugurates a novel form of auditory and visual communication between humans and nature, compelling us to ponder the significance of fostering more intimate links between plant life, human cognition, and artificial intelligence. This inter-species dialogue is becoming increasingly plausible and serves as an educational tool for heightening awareness among visitors and tourists about sustainability and harmonizing our relationship with nature.
